Lake Helen League for Better Living Events 2024

1. February 3rd, Saturday, Art with Heart Gallery and Food Drive- noon until 3pm, Gem Station

Benefits Massey James and Outside the Gates food pantry.

2. February 29th, Thursday, Legacy Gala and awards. 7pm until 10pm. Granville Farms

Benefits Royal Park pavilion fundraising and legacy award honorees are Judith Hopton and Alzada Fowler.

3. April 27th, Saturday ,Lake Day, 11am until 3pm Royal Park

Boat race, canoe and kayak rental, fishing contest for all ages. 

Benefits Lake Helen Lake projects- educational signage, kayak rental machine (6 kayaks already acquired).

4. TBD- Meet the Candidates, event is set as needed. If no one is running opposed event will not occur, if no new candidates are running the event will not occur. Hopkins Hall      7pm- 9pm.

5. October 12, Saturday, Halloween Storytime, 7pm - 9pm, Hopkins Hall.

Benefits local children - book giveaway, culture of reading and story telling

6. December 13th, Friday, 7pm Winter Dance, Hopkins Hall

9. November 23rd Christmas decorations up at Hopkins Hall and gateway cleanup. Split into two teams. Meet at 9am at either Hopkins Hall or gateway.
